Lucie is from Ireland but their family moved to New York when she was in junior high school because her father had work there. Her father has a very succeful business, so money has never been a problem for them. Her family moved back to Ireland after Lucie finished high school but Lucie stayed in New York, although she visits Ireland regularly. She studied 10 months in France to learn the art of French pastry. She has also studied culinary management and other baking-related at Manhattan. She just finished all of her studies and set up her own small pastry shop / coffee house to New York with her school friend. Setting up the place took some time but now it has finally opened.

Lucie lives with Shane and Erica. They are friends and lovers in an open V-triad Shane being the hub (= Eri and Luc are with Shane but not with each other). The relationship between Eri and Luc is sometimes bordering on intimate: they're not platonic but not sexual either since neither is interested in women.

Lucie has rather calm and sunny personality. She's also mischievous and has excellent poker face. Shane and Eri both have quite tempers and when they are arguing with each other, Luc might, for example, just calmly bake in the kitchen. And if the arguing goes on too long, she just might go and splat the cake she was doing in their faces... and blame them for ruining it. She can be quite scary when she gets angry, although it's quite difficult to cause that. When she's angry, she's usually smiling a dangerous fake smile. It's a really bad sign, Eri and Shane know ;D Lucie loves baking and cooking a lot and she has a great passion for her new shop. Setting up a pastry shop has been her dream for a long time. She sometimes tires Shane and Eri with her endless tirade of the art of pastry, chocolate and candy. She's obviously one of those people who never get fat no matter what they eat. Shane and Eri worry about their figures more and it's sometimes difficult since Luc is always cooking something delicious.

Luciell is a Dragon Priestess and a Dragonmaster (or mistress to be exact). Dragonmaster is someone who has perfected the arts of dragon magic and taming. Dragon Priestess is one who serves Dragons. Before she became a Dragon Priestess she was a dragon tamer but that was a long time ago; she has lived for long but looks and behaves young as ever. She lives in a temple in the mountains. She reveres and takes care of the dragons and has a lot of wisdom about world and magic alike. People often come to her for guidance and information.

She is calm and sunny but quite mischievous with excellent poker face. It's difficult to make her angry but if that happens, her wrath is quick and explosive. Sometimes she likes to have fun on expense of others. She appreciates proper etiquette except when she herself is considered. She takes advantage of her position but when it comes down to it she is just, merciful and warm-hearted.

She poses very well, I love her body! It bends to every direction and looks very natural. Also, she's very easy to photograph, she looks good from almost all angles except from very downward angle when her facial expression looks a bit funny (a bit surprised or like she's high or something xD). It's rather easy to make clothes for her, they are easy to fit. She stands very well and stays in the poses, especially after sueding and stringing she's really amazing. And the French resin, it's gorgeous! When you put urethan and french resin side by side, the urethan looks very plastic-like while French one looks glowing and alive. I also love the beige skin: in natural light it looks like a real skin colour and very healthy. It also looks good in fluorescent light. Pink/white skin burns very easily in photos but beige skin is easy; it doesn't burn easily. The only bad thing about the skin is that in the light of normal light bulb it looks very yellow/orange, especially against white background. But at least you don't have to be scared about the skin yellowing easily :D

Then to the problems. My doll has the new knee joints (I'm not sure how they call them nowadays but in 2009 they were new). They looks very good and natural when you bend the leg but they are quite fragile. Between her shin and thight there is a ball (the knee) which has hooks in both sides. The hooks in the knee part are made of resin which I think is incredibly stupid. Of the 4 hooks two of them already broke when I was stringing. However, this is not as bad as it sounds: I made a small hole with a nail drill above the hook, put very strong but thin thread through it and after tying that thread I hanged a small s-hook there. That has worked very well and has lasted for a year now! On the outside it looks exactly the same but stringing is a bit more difficult.

The lower leg has it's own string and therefore Narae has altogether 4 strings in it, in both shins, one in the torso and one in the arms. Because there is no tension of the string in the knee part, it stays very well in positions. Narae has quite small head so you have to buy the smallest MSD wigs.
Price: Doll+postage $535 and tax/customs $106 = $641 = 482€ (French resin, blank face. Urethan is cheaper.) I think nowadays Narae is a bit cheaper.

There is no s-hook in the head of Narae. You can detach the faceplate with ease. First I was scared that the faceplate would fall off on its own but this fear was in vain since the faceplate stays on its place very tightly.

All in all, I love my Narae very much, she's a very good doll!
